Built by an Operator.
For Operators.
HoneyBun wasn't built in a marketing agency. It was built by a local service business owner who was tired of paying Google for traffic that should have been free.

The problem was mine first.
I run The Photo Booth Guy — a photo booth rental company based in Chino Hills, California. We serve events across 15+ cities in the Inland Empire and greater Los Angeles. But for years, our website ranked in exactly one.
That meant Google Ads for every other city. Thousands a month paying for clicks that a dedicated city page would've delivered for free. The cost of not ranking was compounding every month. The problem wasn't our SEO skills — it was our page count. Five pages can't rank in fifteen cities.
So I built HoneyBun. First on my own domain. thepbguy.com went from 5 pages to 130 — city pages, event pages, venue pages, booth type pages, and authority resources. Within 90 days of that first deployment (Q2 2024), we ranked in 5 cities and delivered +18.5% Q1 2026 revenue lift from organic discovery.
Then I productized it. Because every local service business owner I know has the same problem: they serve more cities than they rank in.
Service runs in the DNA.
HoneyBun is a veteran-owned business. The discipline, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering results under pressure — that's not marketing copy. That's lived experience. We ship on time, communicate clearly, and stand behind the work.
What we believe.
Operators shouldn't need an agency
If your business model requires paying someone $3,000/mo to maintain your online presence, the model is broken. HoneyBun is a platform, not a retainer. See how we compare to agencies.
Proof comes before pitch
We deployed HoneyBun on our own business first. Every claim on this site is backed by a real deployment on a real domain. We don't sell what we haven't tested.
You own the code and the domain
HoneyBun deploys on WordPress, on your hosting, on your domain. No proprietary lock-in. If you leave, you keep everything. The pages, the schema, the content — it's yours.
Surface area beats optimization tricks
Most SEO advice is about optimizing 5 pages. The real leverage is deploying 200. You can't optimize your way out of a missing page. Google needs an Ontario page to rank you in Ontario.

About HoneyBun
Who founded HoneyBun?
Andrew Cruz — a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and local business owner based in Chino Hills, California. Andrew built and scaled The Photo Booth Guy, a Southern California photo booth company, and hit the same wall every local service operator hits: ranking in one city while serving fifteen. He built HoneyBun to fix that problem on his own business first, then productized it for operators across 40+ verticals.
Is HoneyBun veteran-owned?
Yes. HoneyBun is a veteran-owned business. Andrew served in the U.S. Marine Corps before building and operating local service businesses. That background shapes how HoneyBun is run — execution-first, no fluff, outcomes over activity.
What types of businesses does HoneyBun work with?
HoneyBun works with local service businesses that need to rank across multiple cities — not just one. Plumbers, HVAC contractors, electricians, roofers, med spas, barbershops, gyms, realtors, photo booth companies, and 25+ other verticals. The common thread is operators who are currently invisible in most of the cities they serve.
