Two taps. That's the whole job.

From the jobsite to ranked
in under a minute.

A job check-in is a two-tap field action: your crew snaps one photo at the jobsite and confirms it, and The Engine automatically publishes a geo-tagged, schema-marked job page to your website and a matching post to your Google Business Profile — in under a minute, with nothing extra for the crew to do.

01

Snap a photo and a note

Your crew takes one photo and adds a quick line. That’s the only human step.

02

The Engine writes it up

GPS is read from the photo, the note becomes a brand-voice caption, and you tap Check-In.

03

Published everywhere

A geo-tagged job page goes live on your site with a map pin — plus a matching Google post.

Why it works

Proof Google rewards — and customers believe.

Google ranks local results on relevance, distance, and prominence — and fresh, location-specific proof feeds all three, per Google’s local-ranking guidance. Because every job page ships with structured data, it lands in the format Google’s structured-data documentation and AI answer engines read first — the helpful, people-first content Google says it rewards.

Expands your map reach

Fresh local content signals you work in each city — not just the one your office sits in.

Builds instant trust

Real, recent photos prove your work before a prospect ever calls.

Can't be faked

Geo-tagged, time-stamped, authentic by design — the opposite of outsourced filler.

Zero crew overhead

Two taps in the field. The work your crew already does becomes the content.

Schema baked in

Every job page ships with structured data and a map pin — the format AI answers cite.

Compounds over time

Every job adds another ranked page. The more you work, the more cities you cover.

The HoneyBun difference

A check-in app bolts on.
The Engine is the whole machine.

Standalone tools post a photo to a site you built elsewhere. The Engine builds the site, deploys the pages, and runs your profile — check-ins are one pillar inside it.

Common questions

Got questions?

How long does a check-in take in the field?

Under a minute. Your crew snaps one photo, taps once to confirm the service and location, and taps Check-In. The Engine handles the geo-tagging, the caption, the job page, and the Google post automatically — nothing else for them to do.

What actually gets published when I check in?

Three things at once: a geo-tagged, schema-marked job page on your own website (with a map pin and sitemap entry), and a post on your Google Business Profile. Each one is real proof of work in a real city you serve.

What if my crew texts the photo instead of using the app?

It still works. GPS is injected server-side, so a forwarded photo keeps its location. If texting stripped the photo’s location data, the address you enter restores it — the job page still lands in the right city.

Does this really help my Google Maps ranking?

Fresh, location-specific content is one of the signals Google rewards for local relevance. Check-ins won’t outrank a strong profile on their own, but paired with your page network, reviews, and a complete Google profile, they expand the cities you show up in — with proof competitors can’t fake.

How is this different from DataPins or a check-in app?

Those bolt a check-in widget onto a website you already have. The Engine is the website — it builds your site, deploys your city and service pages, runs your Google profile, and handles your reviews. Check-Ins is one pillar of that system, not a standalone add-on you have to wire in.

Will social media posting be included?

Auto-posting each check-in to your social channels is on the roadmap. Today every check-in publishes to your website and your Google Business Profile automatically.
